This course is designed to systematically develop and evaluate students’ competencies in critical thinking, problem-solving, research design, and effective communication. Through a series of targeted assessments and practical exercises, students will strengthen these foundational skills across the academic curriculum.
Students will actively engage in analyzing journal articles and delivering journal club presentations, integrating knowledge acquired from previous coursework. The course emphasizes the applied use of critical thinking and analytical reasoning in interpreting scientific literature.
In addition, students will gain practical experience in conducting literature reviews and developing the framework for a research or review article. The course culminates in the completion of a comprehensive review article and the opportunity to present an abstract at a research symposium. This experience provides a valuable platform for students to refine and demonstrate their research and communication skills within a professional academic setting.
